Position: Logistics & Receiving Specialist
What You’ll Do:
Shipment Processing: Record and process incoming shipments, ensuring all documentation aligns with company standards.
Purchase Order Management: Maintain purchase order trackers, update expected ship dates and ensure timely adjustments to align with delivery schedules.
Vendor Coordination: Track vendor shipment notifications and proactively communicate to address discrepancies or delays.
Invoice Verification: Double-check purchase orders against freight invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve inconsistencies.
Trucking Operations Coordination & Support: Complete required trucking permits for shipments. Generate and manage trucking job numbers and coordinate shipments to streamline operations and tracking.
Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and logistics teams to meet shipping deadlines and support organizational objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Experience in related logistics roles, including receiving, warehouse operations, freight management, and handling truck permits is highly preferred.
Knowledge: Experience with inventory management systems and logistics coordination
Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Team Player: Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and work in a fast-paced environment
