We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager(Custom Clearance Operations) to join our team in Poland. As Logistics Operations Manager(Custom Clearance Operations) you will be responsible for leading and optimizing European customs clearance operations by managing teams, suppliers, systems, compliance, and cross‑departmental projects to ensure efficient, compliant, and high‑quality logistics performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Customs Clearance Operations Coordination and Objective Management
-Oversee daily team operations, monitor logistics performance in real-time (including timeliness management, exception cost control, and closure rate achievement), and ensure effective implementation of business objectives.
-Optimize and enhance logistics operation monitoring systems, refine key operational metrics, and formulate and execute improvement plans.
-Manage the resolution of operational exceptions (e.g., process, system, customs, documentation), establish systematic solutions and preventive mechanisms, and drive standardization of operational workflows.
2. Customs Clearance Solutions and Customs Affairs Management
-Lead the implementation of customs clearance solutions in Europe, continuously optimizing clearance process efficiency.
-Develop a dynamic monitoring mechanism for customs regulations across European countries, maintain high sensitivity to policy changes, and adjust operational strategies promptly.
3. Supplier Operations Management and Negotiation
-Lead communication and negotiations with service providers, formulate clear negotiation strategies and target plans.
-Implement supplier empowerment programs to enhance overall service quality through performance incentives and capability-building initiatives.
4. System Management and Rule Formulation
-Master the underlying logic of logistics management systems, oversee system parameter configuration, and drive iterative optimization of rules.
-Design new rule frameworks based on business development needs, promote system upgrades and intelligent transformation.
5. Project Management and Cross-Department Collaboration
-Manage the full lifecycle of key departmental projects, ensuring on-time and quality delivery.
-Act as a key stakeholder in cross-departmental projects, coordinate resources, and drive achievement of collaborative goals.
6. Team Development and Organizational Management
-Decompose strategic objectives into actionable team work plans and task allocation schemes.
-Establish cross-departmental collaboration mechanisms, optimize information sharing and resource allocation processes.
-Implement talent development programs, refine onboarding training systems, and strengthen internal knowledge transfer mechanisms.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications
-Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Logistics Management, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
-Experience: 5+ years in end-to-end operations of international air freight; hands-on experience in European cross-border logistics scenarios preferred.
-Language: Proficiency in English, with strong business writing and professional meeting facilitation skills.
2. Competencies
-Strong resilience to maintain operational stability in dynamic regulatory environments.
-Acute compliance awareness, familiarity with EU data regulations (e.g., GDPR).
-Holistic mindset with expertise in coordinating end-to-end workflows and objectives.
-Proven team management capabilities.
-Critical thinking, accountability, and results-driven approach.
3. Preferred Qualifications
-Proficiency in a second European language (French/German) preferred.
-Experience in WMS/TMS system implementation preferred.
