Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse CSR / Logistics Operations Coordinator to support our daily warehouse and logistics operations.
This position is primarily focused on system operation, data entry, shipment receiving, documentation, and communication. The employee will work closely with freight forwarders, trucking companies, customs brokers, warehouse personnel, and other logistics partners to ensure shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
This is not a heavy physical warehouse position. Forklift operation is not required, although forklift experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Process inbound and outbound shipments in the company’s warehouse management system (WMS).
- Use a PDA/mobile scanner to receive shipments, verify quantities, pallet information, and inventory records.
- Perform daily data entry and shipment order processing accurately and efficiently.
- Verify shipment documents and report discrepancies in quantities, pallet counts, or shipment information.
- Communicate with freight forwarders, trucking companies, customs brokers, drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding shipment status and operational requirements.
- Coordinate pickup, delivery, receiving, and shipment release information.
- Track shipment status and provide timely updates to customers and logistics partners.
- Assist partner warehouses and service providers with using our company’s system, including basic system training and operational guidance.
- Maintain accurate electronic records and supporting documentation for daily warehouse operations.
- Assist with other administrative and light warehouse-related tasks when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, freight forwarding, transportation, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Comfortable learning and using warehouse management systems, PDA/mobile scanners, and other logistics software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when entering shipment information and verifying quantities.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse partners.
- Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience preferred.
- English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple shipments and priorities.
Physical Requirements
This position primarily involves computer, system, documentation, and coordination work. Light warehouse activity such as walking through the warehouse, scanning shipments, checking labels, and verifying pallet or carton quantities may be required. Regular forklift operation or heavy material handling is not required.
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
