Main tasks of the role

Follow up orders with both local and overseas suppliers.

Handle both inbound and outbound shipments and full set of I/E documents.

Monitor and manage inventory.

Handling the receiving and releasing of materials with 3rd party logistics company.

Develop and implement efficient process to streamline and standardize warehouse operations, storage space organization, handling and packing standard.

Facilitate communications between stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers and team members.

Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualification and Experience required:

Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of work experience

2 years’ work experience in shipping department

Full knowledge of shipping related laws and international standards and taxation

Full knowledge of shipping process and required documentation.

Good analytical and communication skills.

Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure.

Good command in both written and spoken English.

Knowledge of other languages such as German, Malay, Mandarin and Thai will be an added advantage.

Well versed in MS office applications.
