A fast-growing leader in the Nepali automobile logistics and after-sales support sector, we specialize in end-to-end vehicle movement, warehousing, and dealer network coordination for top OEMs and importers. Our Logistics Officers ensure seamless, cost-efficient, and timely delivery of passenger and commercial vehicles across Nepal’s challenging terrain—bridging urban hubs and remote districts through smart routing, compliance, and partner coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations for imported vehicles, ensuring timely customs clearance, transportation, and delivery to dealerships and customers.
- Coordinate with international suppliers, shipping agents, customs authorities, freight forwarders, and transport vendors to ensure smooth vehicle imports and distribution.
- Monitor vehicle inventory, transit status, and stock movements across warehouses, yards, and dealer locations while maintaining accurate records in the ERP/system.
- Prepare and verify import documentation, customs declarations, shipping documents, insurance papers, and compliance-related records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Optimize transportation routes, logistics costs, and vehicle handling processes to improve operational efficiency and minimize delivery lead times.
- Collaborate with Sales, After-Sales, Finance, and Dealer Network teams to ensure effective vehicle allocation, dispatch planning, and customer delivery schedules.
- Generate logistics performance reports, track key operational KPIs, identify process improvement opportunities, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- ERP / TMS (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle SCM, or vehicle-specific logistics software)
- Vehicle shipping & documentation (Bill of Lading, Customs Form 8, DOT permits)
- Route optimization tools (GoogleMaps API, Waze, or Fleetio)
- Carrier vendor management & contract negotiation
Preferred
- Experience with automobile OEM logistics (Maruti, Toyota, Isuzu, or local distributors)
- Nepali regional geography & terrain-aware routing (Himalayan routes, lowland highways)
- Basic Excel macros & pivot tables for KPI reporting
