Job Summary:
The Logistics Officer is responsible for overseeing the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials to ensure smooth operations within the Material Management Department. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Planning & Procurement:
Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely delivery to support operational needs.
Work with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective procurement.
Monitor stock levels and forecast material requirements to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Inventory & Storage Management:
Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accuracy in stock levels.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of materials in accordance with safety standards.
Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
Logistics & Transportation:
Coordinate shipments and deliveries to ensure materials reach their destinations on time.
Optimize transportation methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Maintain documentation related to shipments, customs clearance, and logistics operations.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international logistics standards.
Prepare and submit reports on material movement, stock levels, and supplier performance.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years in logistics, material management, or supply chain operations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Language: Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
