Job Brief:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing inbound and outbound logistics operations, coordinating with shipping lines and agents, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely deliveries. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics processes, SAP systems, and import/export regulations within the UAE.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate with shipping lines and agents to arrange trailers and containers for inbound deliveries.
Manage and organize all inbound and outbound shipment activities.
Maintain accurate records of inbound shipments and ensure timely delivery.
Prepare monthly logistics reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Ensure all import and export documentation for sea freight is completed and compliant with UAE regulations.
Handle customs documentation processes for Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as required.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth flow of goods and timely clearance of shipments.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience using SAP.
Strong negotiation and communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
Familiarity with customs documentation processes in Abu Dhabi and Dubai is preferred.
Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.
Capable of maintaining accurate records for inbound shipments.
Sound knowledge of import and export clearance documentation, especially for sea freight.
Proficient in preparing monthly reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
