We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while managing transportation-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have a background in transportation management, ensuring that all customer needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Track and Trace current shipments and Dispatch trucks on incoming requests.
Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information and solutions.
Utilize phone systems to manage calls effectively, ensuring a high level of phone etiquette.
Assist in transportation planning by coordinating logistics and scheduling.
Monitor GPS tracking systems to provide real-time updates to customers regarding their shipments.
Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Provide feedback on processes and suggest improvements to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
1-2 years experience in a customer service role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
Strong understanding of transportation management principles and practices.
Proficient in using phone systems and related technology for effective communication.
Knowledge of freight operations
Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
