About the Role
A fast-growing e-commerce brand in the health and wellness space is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Logistics Manager . In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods from suppliers to fulfillment centers, and ultimately to customers. You’ll play a critical role in optimizing our shipping processes and managing key logistics relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments between suppliers, manufacturers, and 3PL (third-party logistics) partners.
Track shipments and resolve issues such as delays, damages, or lost goods.
Monitor shipping performance and optimize carrier selection, delivery speed, and cost-efficiency.
Work with 3PL partners to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Manage logistics documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork (if applicable), and tracking systems.
Collaborate with inventory and operations teams to maintain alignment on stock levels and shipping schedules.
Provide regular updates and reports on shipping timelines, freight costs, and logistics KPIs.
Support special logistics projects, such as launches of new SKUs or expansion to new markets or warehouses.
Qualifications
Required: Experience managing logistics for an e-commerce business, including coordination with 3PLs and shipping providers.
Preferred: Background in skincare, haircare , or health and wellness products.
Proven ability to troubleshoot logistics issues and manage high-volume shipment operations.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a data-driven mindset.
Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using logistics platforms, shipping software, and tools like Google Sheets/Excel .
Must be based in the U.S. , with a preference for candidates outside the West Coast time zone for team alignment.
Work Structure & Hiring Process
Open to part-time (20+ hours/week) or full-time availability.
Candidates will complete test tasks to assess relevant skills.
