Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands‑on U.S. logistics experience (import/export, warehousing, transportation)
- Deep expertise in Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations, including licensing, approvals, and ongoing site management
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) regulations, audit readiness, and compliance
- Proven experience managing high‑volume inbound logistics for capital equipment and raw materials
- SAP proficiency required
- Demonstrated people leadership with the ability to drive accountability and operational excellence
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and time zones
Nice‑to‑Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA (GTS, GTT, eWM)
- Bilingual in Korean and English
- Semiconductor, high‑tech, or capital‑intensive manufacturing experience
- Experience working within Korean corporate or HQ‑driven environments
- Greenfield, factory launch, or major system go‑live experience
Job Description
The US Logistics Manager will lead end‑to‑end U.S. logistics, warehousing, and material handling operations for a large‑scale manufacturing environment. This role is critical to preparing for and supporting a factory go‑live, ensuring seamless inbound logistics, FTZ compliance, SAP system stability, and alignment with global logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all U.S. inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse operations, and material flow for raw materials and finished goods
- Drive FTZ licensing, approvals, and ongoing compliance, including CBP audits and regulatory inspections
- Manage high‑volume logistics for capital equipment and factory materials in support of factory construction and go‑live
- Implement, stabilize, and optimize SAP S/4 HANA (GTS, GTT, eWM) and related systems to ensure inventory accuracy and automated processes
- Lead logistics service provider (LSP) sourcing, bidding, and contracting
- Manage freight carriers, transportation scheduling, and cost optimization while maintaining FTZ compliance
- Partner cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Purchasing, QA, Facilities, Engineering, and Customer Service
- Collaborate closely with Korea‑based logistics teams to align strategy, share best practices, and support global standardization
- Track and improve KPIs including inventory accuracy, delivery cycle time, shipment volume, transactional accuracy, and logistics performance
- Ensure uninterrupted logistics support to meet production and operational milestones
Compensation:
$125-145k per year annual salary + 15% annual bonus target (200% multiplier)
