Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Manager based in the United States to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in logistics, with a strong understanding of U.S. customs clearance, warehousing, and transportation processes. This role requires a highly organized professional with excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage logistics remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring on-time and cost-effective delivery.
· Oversee customs clearance processes, ensuring full compliance with U.S. import/export regulations.
· Handle warehousing operations, including inventory management and distribution coordination.
· Collaborate with freight carriers, shipping companies, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
· Monitor logistics performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements.
· Utilize logistics software and tools to track shipments, generate reports, and manage data.
· Work closely with internal teams (sales, procurement, and operations) to align logistics with business goals.
· Solve logistics-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions and optimize efficiency.
· Remote work flexibility, with occasional travel if required.
Requirements:
· Based in the United States with at least 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation.
· In-depth knowledge of U.S. customs clearance, warehousing, and logistics regulations.
· Ability to perform basic bookkeeping tasks (e.g., expense tracking, invoice management).
· Proven experience with freight coordination, import/export documentation, and carrier management.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected logistical challenges.
· Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
· Proficiency in logistics management software and data analysis tools.
· Ability to work remotely while maintaining productivity and communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working with CMO processes or contract manufacturers (if relevant).
· Background in e-commerce or B2B logistics.
· Proven track record of cost optimization and process improvement.
