Are you ready to take ownership of a freight strategy where your decisions and negotiations directly influence the bottom line? We’re looking for a Logistics Manager to help drive efficiency, cost savings, and service excellence across our inbound logistics network.
What You’ll Do
As a key logistics leader, you will:
- Drive freight strategy by managing and optimizing our carrier network
- Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining high service levels
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, including backhauls and route optimization
- Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues quickly
- Analyze data (financials, routing, performance metrics) to improve efficiency
- Manage TMS operations, billing, reporting, and freight audits
- Handle claims, OS&D, and vendor chargebacks
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and partners
What You Bring
- 5–7 years of logistics/transportation experience
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Experience with TMS systems, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Foodservice distribution experience (preferred)
- Associate degree in logistics, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
