We’re currently partnering with an international industrial and engineering-focused business in Dubai that is looking to hire a Logistics Manager to join their operations team.
This is a hands-on operational role where you’ll oversee end-to-end logistics activities across import/export operations, freight coordination, customs clearance, and supply chain processes within the UAE. You’ll be joining a growing business environment where strong coordination, compliance, and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
The Role
- Manage daily logistics and supply chain operations across local and international shipments
- Coordinate sea freight, air freight, and land transportation activities
- Handle UAE customs clearance procedures and JAFZA-related operations/documentation
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport providers, customs brokers, warehouses, and suppliers
- Monitor shipment schedules, cargo movement, ETAs, and delivery timelines
- Prepare and review shipping documentation including invoices, packing lists, BLs, and certificates of origin
- Support project and operations teams with timely material and equipment deliveries
- Identify and resolve shipment delays, customs issues, and operational bottlenecks
- Monitor logistics costs and support continuous process improvements across logistics activities
What They’re Looking For
- 5–7+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, import/export, or supply chain operations
- Mandatory hands-on experience with JAFZA procedures and UAE customs regulations
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and international freight processes
- Experience handling sea freight, air freight, and land transportation coordination
- Background within industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or project-based environments is highly preferred
- Strong communication and coordination skills within fast-paced operational environments
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
- Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
- Good knowledge of ERP/logistics systems and MS Office, particularly Excel
