Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and secure competitive freight rates with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
- Coordinate and arrange container placement for cargo loading.
- Monitor and track cargo movements to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee shipping operations and ensure smooth execution of cargo shipments.
- Plan and schedule vessel bookings in line with shipment requirements.
- Liaise with shipping lines, transporters, and customers to ensure efficient logistics operations.
- Resolve shipping and logistics issues promptly to minimize delays and additional costs.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

- Freight cost optimization through effective negotiations.
- Timely container placement and cargo dispatch.
- On-time shipment scheduling and vessel bookings.
- Effective monitoring and control of cargo movements.
- Strong coordination with shipping lines and stakeholders.
- Reduction of shipment delays and logistics-related issues.
Shipments are from Far East (Indonesia, Singapore, China) and Indian ports (Mumbai, Chennai, Tuticorin, Cochin, Calcutta, Mundra, Kandla, JNPT, Ennore, Visakhapatnam etc) to all Middle East, Africa, Europe and U.S ports. Able to handle about 200,000 to 300,000 tons of paper per annum.
