Position: Logistics Export Coordinator
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Logistics Export Coordinator to join our growing team in Doral, FL.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate ocean and air export shipments from booking through final delivery
• Submit and manage booking requests with ocean carriers, airlines, and freight forwarders
• Prepare and process Bills of Lading (B/L) and Air Waybills (AWB)
• Prepare and file AES/EEI (Automated Export System/Electronic Export Information)
• Prepare, review, and maintain required export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping instructions
• Coordinate FTZ (Foreign-Trade Zone) shipments and related documentation
• Work closely with customs brokers regarding shipment requirements and documentation
• Coordinate trucking, container pickup and delivery, and other transportation arrangements
• Communicate with customers, carriers, truckers, terminals, warehouses, customs brokers, FTZ facilities, and overseas agents
• Track shipments and provide customers with timely status updates, ETAs, and delivery information
• Monitor carrier and documentation cutoffs, including SI, VGM, AES, and terminal cutoffs, when applicable
• Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with export and carrier requirements
• Troubleshoot shipment delays, missed cutoffs, documentation discrepancies, rollovers, and other operational issues
• Coordinate and verify billing, freight charges, and shipment-related costs
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation
• Deliver professional and responsive customer service throughout the entire shipment process
Qualifications
- ✓ Minimum 2 years of export logistics or freight forwarding experience required
- ✓ Bilingual in English and Spanish required — strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- ✓ Strong knowledge of ocean export operations; air export experience is a plus
- ✓ Hands-on experience with Bills of Lading (B/L), Air Waybills (AWB), and AES/EEI filings
- ✓ Experience coordinating with customs brokers
- ✓ Knowledge of U.S. export procedures and documentation requirements
- ✓ Experience working with carriers, truckers, terminals, warehouses, and overseas agents
- ✓ Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- ✓ Ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- ✓ Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- ✓ Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- ✓ Must be able to work on-site in Doral, FL
