Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Logistics Operations Management
Oversee end-to-end logistics activities across GCC markets including warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery.
Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods while maintaining high service levels.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
Ensure full compliance with regional import/export regulations, including SABER (Saudi Arabia), Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS), and other relevant country-specific requirements.
Handle the preparation, submission, and follow-up of all necessary customs and clearance documents.
Vendor & Freight Forwarder Management
Manage relationships with logistics service providers, negotiate rates, and ensure SLA adherence.
Evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Cross-functional Coordination
Coordinate closely with commercial, finance, and warehouse teams to align supply chain planning with business goals.
Provide proactive updates and resolutions to minimize supply chain disruptions.
Reporting & KPI Tracking
Track key logistics KPIs such as lead time, delivery accuracy, freight cost efficiency, and clearance cycle time.
Share regular reports and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Market Knowledge & Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on GCC-specific logistics trends, customs procedures, and regulatory changes.
Propose and implement logistics process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
