Job Description
Work hand in hand with sales team to plan delivery schedule for new product releases and restock requests in accordance to internal shipping guidelines
Manage the import procedure for finished goods from country of origin to local warehouse
Coordinate with local warehouse to arrange products for pick and pack
Handle full range of export functions to different stakeholders across the network of distributors
Ensure inventory accuracy for both local and overseas warehouses and conduct periodic cycle count and disposal
Liaise with 3rd party logistics providers to obtain shipping quotes and compare costing for raw materials import shipment
Work closely with Events Team to ship promotional materials timely and accurately
Pick, pack and arrange courier shipments
Drive continuous improvement for internal processes and optimize logistics costs
Manage 3rd party logistics providers and assist with implementation of logistics processes, monitor their performances and ensure maintenance of their service level commitments and costs
Verify 3rd party logistics providers’ billing invoices
Prepare product availability report and send out to stakeholders fortnightly
Support in internal and external audits
Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company
Job Requirements
At least Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or any relevant field of study
Minimum 1 – 2 years of relevant work experience in a logistics customer service role or equivalent
Knowledgeable in import and export procedures in terms of Air & Sea freight
Knowledgeable in Incoterms 2020 and Harmonized Code classification
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office software and courier ship manager platform
Pro-active attitude – able to anticipate issues and resolve them effectively and efficiently
Open to work in warehouse when required
Open to work on some weekends/public holidays for Company events when required
Compensation
Working location: CBD, Singapore
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.5 hours/day including 1 hour lunch break
Flexible reporting time to work between 8.30am to 10am; 1 hour lunch break between 11.30am to 2pm
