About the Company
Our client deals globally in Textile Raw Materials, Petrochemicals, Chemicals & Minerals, serving customers across 32+ countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end bulk cargo and shipping operations.
- Handle chartering and Charter Party agreements, including negotiation, documentation and vessel coordination.
- Manage freight negotiations, vessel planning and shipment scheduling.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, vessel operators, port authorities and internal teams.
- Work closely with major Indian ports and bulk terminals, including Hazira, Mundra, Kandla and others.
- Manage bulk chemical shipments with an understanding of port-wise compatibility and compliance requirements.
- Monitor shipments and proactively resolve operational delays/issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and documentation requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and logistics partners.
Requirements
✅ Experience in Bulk Logistics / Shipping Operations
✅ Strong knowledge of Chartering & Charter Party terms
✅ Hands-on experience with Indian ports and bulk terminals
✅ Knowledge of bulk chemical handling and port compatibility
✅ Strong freight negotiation and cost-management skills
✅ Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities
✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
