Western Alliance Logistics is growing our Miami Operations team and looking for motivated people who want to build a career in transportation and logistics. No prior industry experience is required, everything is taught from the ground up through structured training, hands-on coaching, and increasing responsibility.
Our Logistics Coordinator Development Program will teach you how freight moves across the U.S. and Canada, how to coordinate shipments, and how to manage customer accounts in a fast-paced 3PL environment.
Strong performers can grow into roles with greater account responsibility, operational ownership, and long-term opportunities at WAL.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery across the U.S. and Canada
- Source and communicate with transportation carriers
- Track freight and proactively communicate shipment updates
- Build orders and maintain accurate shipment information
- Identify and resolve delays, service issues, and transportation challenges
- Communicate with customers, carriers and internal sales teams
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting daily performance and service expectations
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
- Customer service, operations, logistics, or other fast-paced professional experience is an asset
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Quick problem-solver who can stay composed under pressure
- Coachable, adaptable, and willing to learn
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- English required; Spanish or French is an asset
Already have 2–3+ years of direct experience with a 3PL or freight brokerage? You may be better suited for our Experienced Logistics Coordinator position and are encouraged to apply directly to that role.
