As Logistics Project Coordinator, you will become part of an experienced Project Execution team, collaborating with Project Managers, Procurement, Export Control & Customs specialists, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers worldwide.
What Will You Do?
As the logistics expert within international EPC projects, you will oversee the complete transportation process from production to final delivery.
Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinating international transport of large industrial equipment and components.
- Managing multimodal shipments by road, sea, and air.
- Preparing shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, customs documents, and Certificates of Origin.
- Monitoring logistics budgets and calculating transportation costs.
- Ensuring packaging and marking comply with customer and project specifications.
- Maintaining shipment data in customer and internal logistics systems.
- Acting as the primary contact for freight forwarders and transport partners throughout project execution.
- Collaborating closely with suppliers, procurement teams, customers, and project managers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Identifying logistics risks and implementing contingency plans to avoid delays.
- Handling transport damage claims and driving continuous improvements.
- Ensuring full compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and Incoterms.
What Do You Bring?
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in international project logistics.
- Experience managing multiple complex logistics projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of import/export processes and customs documentation.
- Experience working with international freight forwarders and logistics providers.
- Good understanding of Incoterms and multimodal transportation.
- Experience with logistics administration and shipment management systems.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English; Dutch or/and German languages are an advantage.
