Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to optimize supply chain operations, enhance logistics efficiency, and ensure seamless coordination of inbound and outbound processes in Oman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, import/export operations, and transportation optimization within the local market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. On-Site Decision Making:

Develop and implement optimal supply chain strategies for complex logistical challenges.

Manage inbound/outbound anomalies and optimize asset allocation based on business needs.

2. Operations Analysis & Efficiency Improvement:

Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify inefficiencies.

Lead and execute process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

3. Daily Logistics Operations:

Oversee daily scheduling, transportation arrangements, and order fulfillment.

Handle pricing inquiries, order tracking, and end-to-end delivery performance.

Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve workflow efficiency.

4. Logistics Resource Development:

Identify and onboard reliable logistics and transportation partners.

Ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries while optimizing logistics expenses.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 3+ years in logistics coordination, import/export operations, preferably in Oman or the GCC region.

Strong understanding of local import/export regulations and logistics supply chain management.

Prior experience in construction equipment or heavy machinery logistics (preferred).

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve operational challenges efficiently.

Proficiency in logistics software and data analysis tools.

Language Requirements:

Fluency in at least two of the following: English, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin).
