Role Description The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, hybrid role based in City of Industry, CA, with some flexibility to work from home. This role is responsible for coordinating daily shipment activities, including booking freight, tracking cargo movements, and ensuring timely delivery across Trans-Pacific routes. The Logistics Coordinator will communicate with carriers, customs brokers, and clients to resolve issues, provide shipment updates, and maintain accurate documentation. Day-to-day tasks include managing inventory and order status, supporting supply chain planning, updating internal systems, and monitoring logistics performance to ensure efficiency and compliance. The role also involves handling customer inquiries, troubleshooting delays, and collaborating with internal teams to continuously improve logistics processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills to interpret shipment data, monitor performance metrics, and support problem-solving in logistics operations.
  • Speak Mandarin to coordinate with origin.
  • Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with carriers, clients, and internal teams and provide clear, timely updates.
  • Experience with Inventory Management to track stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and support order fulfillment accuracy.
  • Foundational knowledge of Supply Chain Management to understand end-to-end logistics workflows, lead times, and cost optimization.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency with logistics or ERP software; strong Excel skills are highly beneficial.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing shipment requirements.
  • Previous experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC operations, or international logistics is preferred.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
