Job Responsibilities:
- Source and pre-approve competitive freight rates by evaluating cost, transit time, payment terms, and service requirements
- Analyze service provider offers against market benchmarks and customer targets
- Upload freight rates, manage quotations in the MACC system, and coordinate with Customer Service for client feedback
- Plan and book inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to shipping cut-off dates
- Monitor daily order status to ensure On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) delivery and high customer satisfaction
- Share booking confirmations and align delivery schedules with customer expectations
- Coordinate with shipping lines, customs authorities, clearing agents, suppliers, and warehouses to ensure smooth operations
- Communicate Verified Gross Mass (VGM) details to support accurate shipping documentation
- Track and resolve claims with service providers and escalate issues when necessary
- Support cost updates and pricing adjustments in MACC; follow up on approvals and communicate changes
- Prepare monthly reports on service provider performance, shipping activity, and profitability
- Finalize and submit shipping documents to Customer Service for processing and client communication
- Ensure timely handling and delivery of Bills of Lading (BLs) to relevant parties (banks, customers, suppliers)
- Verify service provider invoices against agreed rates; update records and flag discrepancies
- Maintain accurate documentation and upload all relevant files into MACC for traceability
- Follow up with Customer Service and Accounting to ensure timely settlement of service provider payments
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain
- Master’s degree is a plus
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics or shipping
- Strong attention to detail with solid problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using systems and digital tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel)
- Good command of written and spoken English
