For one of our clients, a distributor of electrical products and services, we are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Middenmeer. In this fast-paced role, you will play a key part in managing transportation logistics, collaborating with internal and external teams, and ensuring timely delivery of goods across Europe. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to handle multiple tasks while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Book and manage all European transport, working closely with haulers to secure cost-effective and timely solutions.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer delivery expectations are met.
Proactively manage transport schedules, address delays, and resolve issues efficiently.
Prepare and verify all required shipment documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with internal teams and haulers to ensure all shipments are dispatched on time.
Update and maintain delivery schedules, communicating any changes to relevant parties.
Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure shipment readiness and alignment on priorities.
Serve as the main point of contact for customers and haulers regarding shipment-related inquiries.
Resolve transport and delivery issues swiftly, maintaining strong, positive relationships with clients.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive mindset, always seeking opportunities for process improvement.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
