Key Responsibilities
- Allocate the delivery schedule two weeks in advance.
- Organize and track shipments direct to customers & sub-contractors.
- Loading unloading trucks with materials and parts.
- Packing all materials and parts ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Control and retain all shipping documentation through a document control process.
- Support the logistics team with all documentation requirements.
- Moving parts around the shop floor effectively and in compliance of safety and quality standards.
- Creating and maintaining copies of EPI invoices in compliance with document control requirements.
- Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them.
Qualifications And Skills
- Diploma or relevant experience in a logistics role.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP system.
- Good communication and coordination skills with suppliers, customers, and forwarders.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations.
Experience
- Experience operating within a logistics role.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in logistics.
- Aerospace, Defence and Oil & Gas Experience desirable.
