We are sourcing on behalf of a well-established freight forwarding and logistics company based in Dubai, known for its commitment to timely, efficient, and secure cargo movement. As part of their ongoing growth, the company is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support import/export operations, client communications, and vendor coordination.

Role Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in managing the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination between customers, carriers, customs, and internal departments. This role involves handling documentation, tracking shipments, resolving issues, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments by air, sea, and land.
Communicate with shipping lines, freight agents, and customs to ensure timely cargo clearance.
Prepare and verify documentation such as bills of lading, invoices, and delivery notes.
Track and monitor cargo movements to proactively manage delays or discrepancies.
Maintain records in the logistics system and generate regular shipment status reports.
Liaise with clients and internal teams to confirm booking details and delivery expectations.
Assist with freight rate negotiations and carrier selections.
Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
Support warehouse and operations teams with inventory movement and coordination.
Resolve operational issues related to shipment delays, documentation errors, or vendor concerns.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the freight forwarding or shipping industry.
Familiarity with Incoterms, customs clearance procedures, and international trade documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with logistics or ERP systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with GCC and international shipping routes.
Knowledge of documentation for free zones and bonded shipments.
Working knowledge of freight software or port community systems (e.g., Dubai Trade).
