Full-Time 7AM-3:30PM (Monday
– Friday) Career Opportunity for someone who has the ability to multi-task and has strong attention to details.
This position supports the company in the coordination of third-party domestic and foreign shipment logistics, assists in tracking shipments, supports DOT compliance, assists in tracking the overall Transportation spend, and performs general office duties. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment – what you schedule now may change five minutes later!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in dispatching third-party transportation moves, data input, follow-up, tracing actual shipment details, and maintaining timely and accurate documentation.
Assist in tracking and improving efficiencies in logistic operations.
Create Shipping Tickets and Documents for transport to include Load Tenders and Bill of Ladings based on information provided in Operational Software and Excel Spreadsheets.
Learn our commodity grades; work well with internal team and Dispatch.
Handle e-mail queries in a timely, professional, and prompt manner.
Ensure all documentation is handled/maintained in a timely and organized manner.
Develop strong professional relationships with carriers to ensure excellent service.
Support load management/scheduling with inventory.

Skills and Experience:
Minimum of a High School Diploma.
Ideally, two to three years of dispatch/logistics experience.
Able to multitask with strong attention to detail.
A logical, analytical, and inquisitive mind.
Strong communication skills; not afraid to pick up the phone to resolve issues.
Strong Microsoft Office skills; heavy use of Excel.
Strong customer relation skills.
Works well in a small and open office environment.
Candidate must be qualified to work in the US.
