Role Description
Core Responsibilities:
• Receiving forecasts and translating them into POs
• Placing orders through the sourcing agency
• Tracking production timelines the sourcing agency reports back
• Coordinating with the freight forwarder (or sourcing agency handles this too – clarify)
• Managing the Australia 3PL relationship
• Maintaining the daily inventory dashboard
• Weekly reporting to Ops Manager
• Flagging delays or issues that need escalation
Must-haves:
• 2+ years at a DTC ecom brand (any category, doesn't have to be beauty anymore)
• Strong organizational and tracking skills – this role is 70% spreadsheets and follow-ups
• Excellent written English (still matters for sourcing agency comms and 3PL)
• Proactive communicator – chases updates, doesn't wait for them
• Shopify + Google Sheets fluency
• Experience coordinating with 3PLs
