As a Logistics and Transport Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing vehicle logistics and transportation flows. You will oversee all logistics operations to ensure an efficient and high-performing service.
Your main responsibilities include:
Supervising and coordinating transport and logistics operations.
Managing vehicle flows (receipt, storage, distribution).
Implementing cost and time optimization strategies.
Identifying and acquiring new clients to expand the business.
Leading and managing a team of logistics staff and drivers.
Looking for transport solutions on freight exchange (Bourse de Fret).
Managing relationships with transport partners.
Conducting direct outreach and prospecting to acquire new clients.
Overseeing stock management and delivery planning.
Monitoring performance indicators and proposing corrective actions.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of logistics processes.
Adopting a solution-oriented mindset to proactively address day challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
Significant experience in a similar role, ideally in the automotive sector.
Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
Fluency in English,French,German. Any additional language is a plus.
Strong knowledge of the MS office package (in particular excel).
Strong knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards.
Analytical skills, decision-making ability, and strong organizational sense.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate.
B driving license.
Solution-oriented mindset to efficiently tackle operational challenges.
