About the Role:
The Logistics and Order Shipment Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire logistics process, ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of orders. This role involves coordinating with vendors, managing inventory, tracking shipments, and ensuring all logistics operations are carried out efficiently and in alignment with customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing & Shipment Coordination: Ensure the smooth processing of orders from initiation to shipment. Coordinate with the warehouse, production teams, and external vendors to ensure accurate and on-time delivery.
Inventory Management: Track inventory levels, manage stock, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure that items are available for order fulfillment. Maintain accurate records of inventory in the system.
Shipping & Delivery: Oversee the entire shipping process, including selecting appropriate carriers, arranging shipments, and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery. Handle any issues related to delays or damaged goods.
Order Tracking & Reporting: Track shipments and update customers or internal stakeholders on order status. Generate and review daily/weekly shipment reports to monitor performance and resolve discrepancies.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any shipment-related issues, including delays, lost packages, or damaged goods. Work with internal teams and external partners to find solutions and improve processes.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all shipments meet legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of shipping documentation, including invoices, customs paperwork, and delivery confirmations.
Customer Service Support: Assist the customer service team by providing accurate shipment details and resolving any issues related to order fulfillment or shipping. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve order fulfillment accuracy and speed.
