THE POSITION & TASKS
As Logistics and Operations Assistant you will take on a new role at °MEQU, created to strengthen our logistics at an exciting phase of international growth. We are seeking a candidate with a basic technical understanding of medical products (or similar), capable of managing customer order processing across a complex end-to-end set up. The production of °MEQU's °M Warmer System is handled in collaboration with external partners.
What you'll be doing
- Support end-to-end customer order processing – from quotations and order entry to confirmations, shipping documentation, invoicing, and returns.
- Help oversee stock levels and assist with planning and executing cost-effective transport solutions.
- Generate shipping and customs documents.
- Coordinate order bookings with manufacturers, providing clear picking instructions and ensuring accurate, timely fulfillment.
- Support compliance with global trade and customs regulations.
- Provide customer support and contribute to continuous improvement of our administrative and logistics processes.
YOUR PROFILE AND YOUR SKILLS
We imagine that there may be several different entrances to this job:
You may have a technical educational background in a related field, followed by some years where you have used your knowledge in a commercial context.
Alternatively, you may have a commercially oriented educational background within Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Logistics, followed by some years of professional experience in technical order processing.
Overall, it is important that you have the interest and ability to understand a technically complex purchasing and production area.
You have experience with various IT-based order processing solutions and are happy to become part of the future development of an efficient ERP solution for °MEQU.
Preferred professional background
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding or order management
- Familiarity with customs and trade documentation
- Background in a regulated environment (e.g. medical devices/pharma) is a plus
