Job Purpose :
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Logistics and Delivery Coordinator in Kuwait, with a primary focus on Driver Support. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our delivery operations by providing comprehensive support to our team of drivers. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Driver Communication and Support:
- Maintain regular communication with drivers to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure a positive working relationship.
- Act as a point of contact for drivers, addressing inquiries related to schedules, routes, and deliveries.
- Provide on-the-job support and guidance to drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies and delivery standards.
Route Planning and Optimization:
- Collaborate with the logistics team to plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor real-time traffic conditions and provide guidance to drivers to avoid delays and optimize delivery times.
Problem Resolution:
- Identify and resolve logistical issues that may arise during the delivery process promptly.
- Work closely with drivers to troubleshoot problems, including vehicle maintenance and technical issues.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze delivery performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Generate regular reports on delivery metrics and present findings to the logistics management team.
Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions for new drivers, ensuring they are well-versed in company policies, safety procedures, and delivery protocols.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to existing drivers to enhance their skills and performance.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of driver schedules, deliveries, and any incidents that may occur during the delivery process.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to logistics and transportation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics, delivery operations, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Familiarity with logistics software and route optimization tools.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
