Duties
- Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
- Coordinate transportation planning and freight management to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Oversee inventory control procedures, including warehouse management system (WMS) updates and cycle counts
- Manage shipping & receiving operations, including order fulfillment, picking & packing, and dispatching
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL), NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and freight carriers to optimize road transportation operations
- Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 and CMMS to track shipments, inventory levels, and operational metrics
- Support procurement activities by sourcing materials and managing category procurement processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics management, supply chain management, or warehouse distribution roles
- Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and shipping logistics
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, data analysis tools, and supply chain analytics software
- Ability to manage team operations effectively while ensuring compliance with transportation safety regulations
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation, materials handling, packaging, and materials management
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on operational excellence and regulatory compliance
