LaSalle Network is teaming up with an industry leader to hire a Logistics Analyst (Trade Compliance Focus) for a 6-month contract role with conversion potential. Based hybrid (3 days onsite), you’ll help streamline trade activity across North America, working closely with collaborative teams on both sides of the border. Logistics Analyst Responsibilities:
Support U.S., Canadian and Mexican import trade programs
Analyze product data to ensure international trade compliance
Classify products accurately (HTS and FTA eligibility, especially USMCA)
Resolve classification and tariff inconsistencies quickly
Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers
Use Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, MATCH) for data management
Assist with customs docs, such as certificates of origin
Upload, interpret and audit trade data for precision
Logistics Analyst Requirements:
3+ years of experience in trade compliance, logistics or customs
Proven HTS classification and FTA knowledge required
Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas); Tableau a bonus
Bachelor’s degree required for conversion; associate’s acceptable for contract
3PL experience considered with strong classification expertise
Licensed Customs Brokers and seasoned professionals considered case-by-case
