The Logistics Account Coordinator is on our operations team and is responsible for assisting our account managers. This Logistics Account Coordinator requires great communication skills, energetic personality, and a strong work ethic. The ability to comprehend complex situations and foresee what needs to be accomplished to achieve success is essential to this position.

What will you do as the Logistics Account Coordinator?
Act as an overall communicator between both Account Manager(s) and Carrier Sales Representatives
Work with the Carrier Sales team to verify loads are brokered and approving rates
Negotiate with Carrier Sales team on getting loads covered, pricing, and other tasks associated
Work quickly to identify and resolve problems/issues that develop and notify all parties involved
Responsible at times to dispatch and track assigned carriers with the accurate load information
Resolve customer service and billing issues regarding shortages, damages, and/or delays
Assist Account Manager(s) in new account onboarding to ensure customer and internal requirements are achieved
What qualifications do you need to become a Logistics Account Coordinator?
Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or management preferred
Previous experience in logistics
Strong work ethic and self-driven
Confident decision-making skills, and ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
Exceptional verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills
Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks in order to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Effective, professional communication
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
