Full Job Description
We are a growing fashion apparel company that is seeking a qualified individual to handle the Logistics/EDI portion of our business. This is a full-time position out of our downtown LA office. This individual will oversee managing our EDI system, routing shipments, and provide support for our customers.
Immediate Hire Production Coordinator
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 6:00
Responsibilities:
– Manage and keep track of all orders from beginning to end
– Understand EDI system process especially for all the discounter stores such as Ross, Burlington etc., warehouse procedure and use that knowledge to coordinate with sales and buyers
– Route shipments from LA warehouse to discounter store’s distribution centers and coordinate
with trucking companies
– Generate invoices after shipping to the stores
– Collaborate with our China office and freight forwarder company on shipping status
– Provide ongoing customer support to our customers
– Create the weekly shipping reports
– Assist senior management to improve office operations and procedures
Requirements:
– 4 – 6 years’ Apparel clothing Logistic and EDI experience required
– Must have experience with Ross, Burlington etc.…
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitasks to complete wide variety of tasks
– Detail oriented to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
– Self-directed, proactive and independent
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel), Outlook and Adobe
