Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure a smooth logistics delivery service through monitoring, coordination and good communication with Logistics Service Providers, customers, Supply Chain organization and all stakeholders involved. Ensuring order release, Credit , Debits Pallet management, receipts & all external GR`s
Key Responsibilities
Releasing sales orders and coordinating picking and loading activities
Processing and coordinating job lot orders.
Processing customer credits
Coordinating and verifying stock take/cycle count processes
Reconcile invoices with log sheets for Contractor Payments
Make sure all logistics and distribution activities adhere with applicable legislation
Ensure Logistics Service Provider compliance with AkzoNobel Health, Safety,
Environment and Sustainability requirements.
Monitor quality, quantity, Cross functional collaboration i.e. production, Planning, COS & other sites etc
Experience
Related Logistics and or Commercial qualification
Strong proven background of operational excellence
Previous experience in managing a national distribution portfolio (regional more than one distribution site)
Above average numerical skills i.e.: budgets costings etc.
Computer literate: very comfortable dealing with SAP/WMS/MS Office
Strong client and service orientation
Excellent people and communication skills
