Local P&D Driver Overview
Pick up & Deliver Freight within local area
Home daily; Mon-Fri, off weekends!
Local P&D Driver Requirements:
22+ years of age
Valid Class B CDL license
12 months of recent & verifiable box truck delivery experience
Hazmat Endorsement (preferred)
No previous record or consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
Local P&D Driver duties:
*NOTE- YOU WILL ALSO BE BACKING INTO DOCKS MULTIPLE TIMES PER DAY, AND LOADING & UNLOADING FREIGHT!
Perform pre and post trip inspections on company vehicles as required and ensure their safe operation. All issues must be reported as required.
Deliver products on a safe & timely basis.
Establish and maintain contact with supervisors and coworkers.
Perform any other duties as required by management.
Ensure compliance with all DOT Safety Regulations.
Maintain a professional image at all times.
