Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable Local Driver to join our team in Seymour, WI. This role primarily involves drop-and-hook trailer operations, but drivers must also be willing to operate flatbeds, walking floors, and crib trailers as needed. Enjoy the benefit of being home daily, working approximately 10-hour shifts, while contributing to a reliable and efficient logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a commercial vehicle, including flatbeds, walking floors, crib trailers, and standard trailers, in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Perform drop-and-hook operations at designated locations while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
Load, secure, and unload freight when required, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and safety compliance.
Maintain accurate records, including delivery logs, inspection checklists, and time sheets.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues.
Be adaptable to various trailer types and delivery assignments based on operational needs.
Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements suitable for the role (e.g., flatbeds).
Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the last 3 years.
Previous experience operating flatbeds, walking floors, and crib trailers (preferred but not mandatory—training available).
Ability to manage physical tasks, such as securing loads and climbing in and out of vehicles.
Strong time management skills and flexibility with shift durations (approx. 10-hour days).
Positive attitude and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Schedule and Location
Based out of Seymour, WI.
Predominantly 10-hour shifts, with some variation based on workload and delivery schedules.
Home daily with consistent routes in the local area.
