Job Title: NON CDL or CDL B Delivery Driver (Local Delivery)
Location: Davenport, IA
Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a NON CDL orCDL B Delivery Driver based out of our Davenport Branch. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 6 locations. Our drivers touch freight! As a Delivery Driver, you are the team member that our customers interact with the most. Providing exceptional customer service is a key part of this role and is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service. You will interact with customers professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Duties include checking orders for accuracy, inspecting product for damage, and keeping accurate records of deliveries.
Pay: Depends on type of license
Non CDL: $18
Class B CDL: $20
What we look for:
Valid interstate eligible driver’s license, 21+ or older
Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM depending on the route)
Access to reliable and punctual transportation
Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
Must be able to read and write English
Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
Must be comfortable driving a box truck for non CDL individuals and a straight truck for those who have a Class B CDL
What you’ll do:
SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions
Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
