Commodity Forwarders is hiring a full-time CDL A Truck Driver in Seattle. The role involves local freight delivery and requires a CDL A license, manual transmission experience, and a DOT Medical Card.
Rate: $28 – $33 hourly (depending on experience)
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 9 am – 5:30 pm
Your Role:
- Transport perishable freight to airlines, customers, and cargo facilities
- Use electronic devices such as iPods or other Apple products
- Identify and report freight issues or mix-ups
- Operate manual pallet jacks
- Load and unload freight at warehouses and delivery sites
- Verify accuracy of shipment paperwork
- Screen domestic air freight as needed
- Lift up to 35 lbs and remain on your feet during shifts
- Enter and exit refrigerated rooms regularly
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass TSA background check
- Valid Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 6 months of manual transmission driving experience
- Current DOT Medical Card
