Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service.
Responsibilities
$30 – $35/hr, OT After 40,
Monday through Friday Schedule,
6:30 AM Start Time,
deliver and pick up storage containers around the area (will train on the container exp),
2024 Automatic Tractors,
40’ Landoll Trailer,
8-hour days,
40 – 45 hours per week
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while adhering to regulations.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.
Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.
Ensure the cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
Experience
1 year of verified Class A CDL driving experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Familiarity with freight handling and transportation regulations.
Experience operating landoll trailers is preferred.
Strong understanding of route driving and navigation skills.
Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is a plus.
