Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Local Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently within designated routes. This role requires a strong understanding of various types of vehicles, including Oil Field Equipment, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds. The Local Driver will adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
Operate various types of commercial vehicles, including Hopper Bottom, Flatbed, and Low Boys
Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Utilize manual transmission vehicles when required, demonstrating proficiency in driving techniques.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type. Minimum 2 years of experience.
Experience driving various types of trucks, including but not limited to dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
Familiarity with load unloading procedures and Oil Field Equipment
Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving.
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
