Job Summary
Join our team as a Dedicated CDL-A Driver servicing Opelika, AL operations. This role involves consistent routes, dependable work schedules, and attractive benefits for both experienced drivers and trainees.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver freight to locations in Alabama, Georgia, and surrounding regions, including Atlanta and Birmingham.
Perform Live Load, Live Unload, Drop and Hook tasks.
Comply with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Handle no-touch freight and ensure all stops are completed as per the assigned route.
Schedule:
Daily Home Time: Drivers are home every day.
Shift: Flexible shifts available, including day and night rotations.
Workweek:
5-day schedule: $800 – $1,200 per week
6-day schedule: $1,300 – $1,550 per week
Pay & Compensation:
Weekly Pay Range: $1,200 – $1,800
Short-Haul Pay: $40 for loads under 51 miles.
Stop Pay:
5-day schedule: $10 per stop
6-day schedule: $10 for the first stop, $15 for subsequent stops.
Bonuses: Transition bonus available.
Earnings Potential: $1,500 weekly average based on schedule and performance.
Requirements:
License: Valid CDL-A driver’s license.
Experience: Open to experienced drivers (First Seat drivers).
Endorsements/Certificates: None required.
Must Reside: Within 40 miles of Opelika, AL (Zip Code 36801).
Proven experience in truck driving and commercial driving
Proficiency in operating tractor-trailers
Experience with refrigerated trailers preferred
Familiarity with local driving routes and regulations in AL, GA
