Position Details:
Home Daily
Weekly pay range: $1,200–$1,500
Weekly average: 1,600 to 1,700 miles
Extra pay includes:
$15 per stop
$25 per short haul (under 50 miles)
Safety and performance bonuses available
Job Summary:
We are looking for dependable CDL-A drivers to safely and efficiently transport freight on local routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, excellent communication, and the ability to handle various trucks and freight types.
What You’ll Do:
Operate Class A vehicles on local routes within the Kansas City area.
Drive different trucks, including flatbed and roll-off types, to deliver freight to assigned locations.
Haul 100% no-touch freight with most loads preloaded.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and necessary documentation.
Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers about schedules and any concerns.
Operate forklifts as needed for loading and unloading.
Follow all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
Position Highlights:

Basic Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL.
Experience operating Class A vehicles, including manual transmissions.
Ability to safely operate forklifts.
Recent graduates with 120+ hours from accredited programs are encouraged to apply.
Must pass hair and urine drug screenings.
Clean driving record and background history (no felonies, DUIs, or at-fault accidents).
No felony within the past 10 years.
