DSL Express is actively seeking a reliable and detail-driven Loader to support our fast-moving logistics operations. In this physically engaging role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate and safe loading and unloading of trailers and trucks, ensuring freight is moved efficiently and damage-free. Responsibilities:
Load & Unload Freight
Safely load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and other transport vehicles.
Ensure cargo is positioned securely and evenly to maintain load balance.
Protect Shipments
Use proper restraints such as straps or pallets to prevent damage during transit.
Inspect loads for signs of damage or errors and report concerns promptly.
Follow Safety Procedures
Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely—training provided as needed.
Adhere to all company safety guidelines and OSHA-compliant practices.
Use protective gear and maintain safe lifting techniques.
Coordinate with the Team
Work in sync with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Communicate clearly to troubleshoot issues and maintain workflow.
Maintain an Organized Work Area
Keep loading zones clean, clear, and hazard-free.
Store tools and equipment properly after use.
Requirements:
Previous warehouse, freight, or loading experience is helpful but not mandatory—we offer full training!
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
Team-oriented mindset with solid communication skills.
Flexible availability, including weekends or overtime as needed.
