Job Summary
The LMD Agent is responsible for coordinating and monitoring daily last-mile delivery operations, ensuring timely loading, dispatch, route planning, customer communication, and delivery execution. The role supports efficient delivery of furniture and assembly services while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse loading and vehicle dispatch activities.
- Create and manage Air Waybills (AWBs) and delivery documentation.
- Assign delivery tasks and routes to drivers and delivery teams.
- Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
- Prevent duplicate scheduling and resolve delivery issues.
- Monitor vehicle movement, delivery status, and turnaround times.
- Prepare daily operational and performance reports.
- Plan next-day deliveries, route allocation, and truck loading capacity.
- Manage driver timesheets and attendance records.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and equipment requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Last Mile Delivery (LMD), logistics coordination, or delivery planning.
- Excellent English communication skills (Mandatory).
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Good knowledge of UAE locations, especially Dubai.
- Strong planning, coordination, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
