Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Assess situations and resolve issues independently.
Safely operate multiple types of heavy equipment to move vessels and materials to designated areas.
Oversee coordination and removal of vessels from water using Travel Lifts, forklifts, and Travel Lift Transporters; move to and from storage, and position/securing vessels according to size, weight, and weight distribution.
Maintain and update yard communication tools.
Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations during all yard activities and maintain a safe, clean work area.
Perform all work to Hinckley Company quality standards.
Perform other related duties as necessary and assigned.
Requirements
3+ years of marine management experience.
3+ years of experience with marine travel lifts, launch duties, forklifts, and other heavy-duty equipment in a boat yard/yacht environment.
Forklift certification.
Ability to communicate politely and clearly in high-stress situations.
Experience with travel lifts.
