The Key Account Logistics Specialist will deliver the highest quality service in our industry through management of daily operational tasks in compliance with all relevant regulations, customer requirements and the targets of the company as part of the Key Accounts team. Assisting in the ongoing development of Biocair’s operational ability to ensure the highest level of customer service, commerciality, quality & satisfaction.

Responsibilities will include:

Develop and maintain a close relationship with existing and potential clients by understanding needs, providing high levels of accurate and timely communication, ensuring complete satisfaction with the service and identifying service level improvements – to become a trusted supplier.

Identify areas of weaknesses in the Biocair network and capabilities for the provision of key account logistics solutions and assist in the design, implementation and completion of initiatives to resolve

Proactively monitor the status of shipments, identify and deal with issues as they arise, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, and implement corrective measures and escalate appropriately to maintain product viability

Provide the customer and/or consignee with regular, accurate and timely updates on shipment status as required

Develop a thorough knowledge of the Biocair network and capabilities to effectively plan solutions that meet customer requirements

Manage suppliers to provide a seamless extension of the appropriate Biocair service

In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:

Experience of working within one or more of the following areas: Cold chain, time-sensitive multimodal freight forwarding, pharmaceutical industry (ideally in a logistics setting), highly customer-orientated role with experience in successfully managing client relationships

Direct customer service experience

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick, informed decisions under pressure

Between $55,000 – $60,000 per annum commensurate with experience

Please note this is a full time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 after an initial training period of 08:00 to 16:30 and will be based at our office in Philadelphia (PA 19406).
