Junior Transport Planner

Salary: 25,000 to 35,000
An opportunity has opened for a Junior Transport Planner to join a construction / Civil Engineering company based in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will either be a graduate in Civil Engineering or similar looking to get into Transport Planning or you will have some experience in the industry.
Junior Transport Planner Key Skills:
University degree in Civil Engineering or Transport Planning
Any transport planning, co-ordination experience would be a bonus
Junctions Software experience would be a bonus
Excellent analytical skills as well as report writing
Interest in UK roads and highways infrastructure
UK Driving License
Junior Transport Planner Responsibilities:
Prepare and document transport plans, assessments and drawings
Liaise with external authorities as well as client base
Use software to map out assessments of traffic and junction capacities
Presentation of data to clients and internally
Document writing and reporting
